You sure they really unplugged?  I find that hard to believe with how well-trained people are today to consume media services.  They probably put on a password, checked "hidden" on the network name broadcast, and told you they're amish now so you wouldn't hack back in within an hour.

Bah, I'm just so confused.. my TAB menu in all games say from 20-50 ping but net_graph shows 150+... in TF2 and GE:S I'm pulling in a Siccckk 9fps... i never pull 9fps unless I'm in runway.. It wont go passed 9 either.. but in CS 1.6 i hit 70-80 fine.

What would be holding back my fps, due to internet?

Sorry dude, but it if you're just around 70-80 fps in CS 1.6 it means your computer can't handle more.
It's not like the internet has any impact on your fps - in fact, even if you'd be on a 56k dialup you'd have decent framerates all the time, if your computer could handle it, it'd just be laggy as hell.

Try to lower any significant settings and maybe your Direct X level, too. In the TF2 forums there should be a thread about getting it to run better on older systems - this should help you with all your orange box games (and GE: S) as well.

Other than that: did you defrag your HDD and your Steam games as well, recently? If the files are scattered around too much this could also be a part of your problem. Try to update your graphics drivers, while you're on it.

Heck, just buy like 5 100 feet of cat 6 cables, bridge them together, go to someones house when its halloween, and sneak inside and find a router with cable connection and root the wire inground back to your house. You will get full speed heee hee hee

Damn it, Does this mean my gfx card is dying or something...? Because i was definitely getting decent fps in tf2 about 2 weeks ago.. I have an older "xtacy 9600" that i could put in.. I am disappoint.
