Poster GE: Source

Hi everyone,
during my freetime I created this poster.

The resolution is 1280x1024, if someone want another ask me.
The background image can be changed with another, for istance with the gunbarrel with the Walther PPK inside.

I hope you'll enjoy it...

Well, try not to take this too harshly...

Firstly, I like the font, it looks nice but it's very large and takes up an unreasonable amount of space. Most people avoid using wallpapers with large imposing text on them.

The red ring should go around the E, not on top of it. See example.

'A Half Life 2 Mod' is completely unnecessary, anyone who would be using this as a wallpaper would already know that Goldeneye Source is a half life 2 mod. More specifically that is rather incorrect anyway, being that it's a Source mod, Half Life 2 does not necessarily need to be owned, the engine does.

There's really not much else I can say... It's text over a screenshot. I am curious though, what map is that? It looks like it could be runway... If it is then it's a very old screenshot and not representative of the mod in it's current state.

The background image seems low res..

Should make sure the video settings are on highest possible when taking screens..

On both versions you're using incredibly outdated map screenshots from 2005 pre-beta 1 (Which I don't understand at all). Have you looked at the mod's current version? You can make a much higher quality (and up to date) screenshot by just taking a screenshot while in the current public build.

5760x1200..

but its stupid for FPS.  I stick to 1920x1200 single.  Racing games like Dirt 2 are epic in full screen.

I don't know many people that willingly stare at neon glowing text on their desktop. The whole concept needs to be overhauled.
