I was seeing his Twitter and he is aware of GE Vault and he likes the mods! Particulary Goldfinger's. Hahaha. Hope he's aware of GE:S.  ;D

In case you haven't heard it, this is probably the most comprehensive "technical" interview with Dr. Doak to date... RWhiteGoose did a really good job asking about the why/how GoldenEye was coded the way it was, and specific elements of the game that speedrunners exploit:

I just thought back to this. Shot in the dark here, take it or leave it I suppose. Since he's following the mod to some degree, would it be out of the question to ask him if he's interested in reprising his role as Dr. Doak or the Male Scientist as a future character model?

I've spoken with Grant Kirkhope on Twitter myself, he's easy to get in contact with, and I believe he knows about the mod as well. Perhaps the team would be interested in having some of the original devs back as characters. They seem like the types that would be down for the idea, like a reunion of sorts. Personally, I think it'd be really cool.

If the model for his char is remade..  I don't doubt we will at least ask Him, especially if he would like it updated or keep 21 year old version.
