Really bad sore throat Sunday night, Monday it continued but now with a bad stomach since a bunch of stuff was draining into it. Light headed and exhausted because I couldn't sleep the night before. So what I did Monday night was mix lime juice + a lot of salt with warm water and gargled it. Got a lot of crap out of my throat doing that and I felt a bit better, but I still had trouble sleeping last night.

I woke up about 50 times and every time I went back to sleep I had the same sort of dream which made absolutely no sense so it's hard to describe. By time I got up for good my throat had healed up mostly but today I'm even more light headed, congested, and feel like crap. Time to sip on my Earl Grey tea. Hot, of course.

edit: I just found out right now that the lime juice + salt water trick also suppressed my coughing attacks I was just having.

Yea, my mom told me when I was a kid to gargle up warm water and salt. It works great.

But adding lime juice? I gotta try that.
