hey this is me zhamorok (or whatever that forum name i was and i used to trololol) and i have a problem starting steam games (including GE:S) like it keeps giving me a error when its done loading : CFileSystem_Steam::Init() failed:failed to find steam interface
ive done evrything and nothing if any1 has same problems dont post on this topic just the ppl who can help can post here

ive alrdy done that all and nothing i tried taking out my steamapps folder moe and reinstall steam nothing worked i tried all topics and nothing not even disabling my pc tools worked i tried evrything plz (and ty for the typing i was to lazy to type) so ya nthing worked

are you using a legit copy of steam and not using pirated games?

any part of steam running? Ingame vgui , hammer, etc.

1) verify your game cache, right click game > properties > local files > view integrity of game cache

2) search for duplicate filesystem_steam.dll or steam.dll files

3) what kind of programs are you running in the background?

If GE:S is not the only game affected then it is a problem unrelated to GE:S. The problem lies within your installation of Steam. All I can recommend is completely uninstalling Steam and then reinstalling it.

If that fails then contact Steam Support because you're asking in the wrong place here.

Plus I can't take you seriously because of how you type.

Go to the steam forums. They will most likely provide you with help that is beyond the GE:S mod.
