Can I make a request? Could weapon bobbing be Implemented? It contributes to the feel of movement. Feels like crap just sliding around with no other movement, you feel like a Camera on rails with a gun. HL2's Bobbing Style is Fine.

I think they were left out because Bond was the only one with alternate outfits, and it would have been a pain to add an aloternate outfit option in the character select for only one character model, but I think they will make their way back in eventually

I'd have the skin selection as a row of small boxes between the character selection and the render model.  The boxes would be icons of a simple silhouette, similar to the bond/HL2 logo we've used, colored to reflect the skin.  The other characters could easily have distinctive silhouette icons as well, so that should make skin selection easy and intuitive and not chew up a load of GUI space.

Yet another thing (if your enough motivated to get 1.1i out :P):

Only Escape style menus works ATM, AMX style menus does not work in this mod. Would be great if you can get them to work. In scripts/HudLayout.res, just replace this
Code: [Select]
	HudMenu
{
"fieldName" "HudMenu"
"visible" "1"
"enabled" "1"
"wide" "640"
"tall" "480"
}
by that
Code: [Select]
	HudMenu
{
"fieldName" "HudMenu"
"visible" "1"
"enabled" "1"
"wide" "640"
"tall" "480"
"zpos" "1"
"TextFont""Default"
"ItemFont""Default"
"ItemFontPulsing""Default"
}
HudRadio
{
"fieldName""HudRadio"
"TextFont""Default"
"visible""1"
"xpos""10"
"ypos""c"
"wide""Default"
"tall""Default"
"text_ygap""2"
"TextColor""255 255 255 192"
"PaintBackgroundType""0"
}
thx

BTW, if the beta 3 could have that changed as well, it would be great (or maybe the OB SDK base comes with a non-bugged HudLayout.res? I'm too lazy to check the gcf).

Yeah im sorry but it doesnt look like im going to get i out before monkey comes close to a heart attack and finishes beta 3.

I have a major project that is ment to be done in 3 months and its sapping all my time. Plus it uses vis 2005 and vis 2003 (what i need for ges) doesnt get on with 2005 well.

Best bet is to start a thread for these things so monkey can make sure they work properly in beta 3.

Ok so the AMX menu system is on in Beta 3 now, I am not sure how to test it though. If you can lead me to that answer I would appreciate it.

Maybe this is incorrect, but I'd think you could install a later (1.2) version of Mani's Admin Plugin and call up some votes to see if it works.

Ok so I installed mani, caused a lot of crashes (prolly not installed 100% ok using hL2MP mode) however, I was able to startup the admin VGUI thing and start a vote. I couldn't actually vote from the "say window" because I guess people who rockthevote can't vote... stupid. Whatever I think it works, thats as much effort as i will put into it for now :)

In the server console put 'ma_votequestion x' and it should pop up a menu that says "x; 1: yes; 2: no"

Will any of this deal with the Hit Boxes. Because it takes the fun out of the game when you cant even hit what you aim at. And while a few people have compensated it would seem it leaves them with huge kill counts almost no deaths and everyone yelling hacker lol

yeah, the hit reg is a big concern. I have had more trouble with the hit reg in GES than in any other source Mod or game. HL2DM Works fine, CSS works fine, just don't know exactly what's up.

Doc. No: I consider the lack of weapon bobbing to be a bug. I seriously don't think it would be that hard to get bobbing back in, HL2DM had it, and the code could easily be gathered from there.
