Jumping in GE:S - Keep it or leave it?

So, I wanted to get some pulse. I'm fed up of bunnyhopping. And last time I check, GE64 didn't have any jumping. But I'm only one voice, so I wanted to get your opinion and maybe some suggestions  :D

it's a server variable. some servers have it some dont

I'm sure i said this before:

Jumping should be disabled on Classic maps and enabled on non-classic maps.

I have to agree with Kraid on this one. I personally find that jumping is a good thing, but thats because I go faster ;)

Like CS:S jumping could be made to slow your post jump acceleration speed so that jumping is beneficial only for *some* evasion instead of perma-bunnyhop then perma-jump evasion while spamming shotty

even bunny hoppers know its lame ;) im not some noob complaining..i used to use it and do well vs anyone in the aussie server - to the point they called lame and left. I started to use the wall trick instead it obviously limits my movement while giving the speed bonus, making it a fair trade the same way running at angle for speed in ge64 made it more difficult to see shit if you are looking at a wall in a corridor..lol

Also i really dont agree that jumping is for redone maps, and classics should be no jump only. It could ship default that way with the configs, but be customizable.

Jumping should stay, but should be fixed so that certain Euros don't take advantage of the bunny hop..

There's only a few people (fellow WNx members) that really abuse jumping so I think it should stay unless it becomes a bigger problem then it is. I think jumping only improves the game, otherwise.

I can't speak for others but i jump the smash-the-space-button way, and can't see how its unfair. I agree its cheap if done with scripts or what-not.
But i guess its not possible to check if its done one way or another.

I think the whole jumping discussion is just denying the real problem - the still crappy hit-reg.

Remove the friggin jumping.
Jumping is for getting over hard to reach edges, and there is no such thing in Goldeneye. Any other use for jumping should universally result in kick and ban, no matter what game.

One of the good things with goldeneye was that it lacked preciselly that.
