A true legend has passed away at the age of 89 due to cancer.

Our thoughts go out to family, friends and fellow fans.

His movies weren't my favorite Bond films - although I enjoyed many of them - but he was absolutely my favorite Bond actor, probably because I saw most of his movies as a kid growing up before I saw any others, so to me, he "was" James Bond - and he was hilarious and cool in every one of them.

First Bond actor to pass away... may he RIP. :'(
