[RESOLVED] srcds.exe - Entry Point Not Found

Hi there,

This is new, lol - I have not encountered this one before.

I installed GE:S to another server box and upon startup I get this:



I have checked in the directory, and yes engine.dll is there.

Possibly something else missing?

I just gave a fresh 2012r2 install a try and had no issue. My best guess is something is corrupt or your installation is incomplete. Try validating the server through SteamCMD:


--- Code: ---
app_update 310 validate
--- End code ---

Also, are you using any additional plugins? Is this a brand new copy of GE:S or one copied from a previously configured server?

It's a fresh install, I validated it (again), still no luck, so I deleted it and downloaded the whole package again, where I'm presented with the same error:



OS: Windows 8.1 Professional x64

The DLL it speaks of is there, and is a fresh installed copy of it, so I don't know why it has an issue:



Any suggestions?.

Do I need Source Dedicated Server 2007 also installed, or just srcds directory (which I thought was SDS 07) and gesource directory.
