Modeler/TextureArtist
« on: August 06, 2007, 06:59:01 am »

So I am a soon to be graduate of the Vancouver Film School, where I focused on high poly environment/prop work.  I am looking to get my feet wet with some low poly environment/vehicle/prop work.  I am a huge fan of Goldeneye in all its interations (game, movie, etc.) and would absolutely love to be able to contribute to such an amazing undertaking.  As far as my skills go, I primarily use XSI and Photoshop and I am confident in multipass shaders diffuse, spec, normal, etc.  I will let my work speak for me and if you have any other questions let me know.  Thanks.

your top image, should probably have different lighting to show of your prop modeling and texturing skills, but the lower 2 are really good examples of hard surface modeling.
also its a good idea to include wire frames, texture flats, and gray shade of your models when your doing apps even for mods.
and since your coming out of school, its also a good idea to have a website.
though that stuff isnt 100% necessary for our mods applications just some helpful hints for your career move your about to start up.

our level designers can never get enough props, so ill bump you to trial.
go ahead and make a thread in the trial members section and we will get you some work to do.

It's because we actually posted some news on some other sites besides these forums.

http://forums.facepunchstudios.com/search.php?searchid=2564458 That's basically the compilation of the sites we've posted on. You can see the nice long break we took between May and now.
