What exactly do you think they've been doing over the last 5 years? Also, it seems like you haven't followed very closely or you'd understand why everything is the way it is.
They're remaking goldeneye, not playing around with it to suit their individual tastes. These suggestions and arguments are just based on your own gameplay experience.
They know what they're doing and they do take on board suggestions. But only if those suggestions are actually sensible and genuinely good ideas. Not stupid ideas or ideas that contradict their design goal.

I love mangley so much. He speaks a barrel of fanboy truth. My individual taste is to have a goldeneye feel even if it pisses some people off who are used to overbalanced moderns games. Fans of the original come first, outsiders come second. We finally made our goal of true goldeneye feel, much more than previous versions with this release.

That is the reason I love this mod and this mod team. I'd have things no other way. The fact that this game is so unique and takes actual skill to learn is very important to a lot of us and keeping it nostalgic is also key. I'd rather play with a small community of GE64 vets than a huge community of CSS players yelling HAX.
