That looks suspisiously like a game I saw someone playing/coding at Bridgwater college back in about 2002/3... and that was in VB6 as well!!! more clues I hear you ask? Greg is God.

I'm fixing up the first two singleplayer levels, I might have a demo in the near future.

Inverted; we need to get together and discuss the possibilty of what Spider and I have been talking about doing for awhile now. This might be a good place to start. :)

I use Photoshop because it allows you to blur images at very low resolutions. Really help brings out the color and smooth out the rough edges.

And the work continues...

Ive been trying to update the graphics slowly, it's my least favorite part of making this game. I'd really rather focus on the code but I know that no one else will have the same drive to get it done, so I'm probably going to have to do every pixel. I found one part of the 2d design to be extremely fun for whatever reason, making my characters little hats:

That's not all of them, I'm up to 30 as of now.

As far as the code goes, I added tons of new things. Bug fixes and hidden design features mostly, I added some new powerups too. Once I get one level up-to-par I'll release a beta for people to play around with.

I'm sure there are some free sprite/pixel-art resource websites you can find... just like you can find free texture websites.
