I can get any model from the game. Even the map geometry and spell effects..

That actually sounds very interesting. How complicated was it? Too complicated for a tutorial?

Just a tutorial for how to export or how to export then re import it into HL2?

Basically when you decompile it from wow you just get the model and the texture. Then you have to give it a skeleton and weigh everything to get it into HL2...

I hate WoW coz its subscription, otherwise i most likely would have been sucked in if they werent money whores.

I'd rather see some wc3 models in Source if something from blizzard is being ported

Nice job on the porting tho it looks pretty cool, you should make a model for WoW that will blend into source a bit better, it sure does stand out haha

I dont blame them for being money whores. They are working on new things all the time. They need extra money to maintain the servers, they also have patches that include alot of content every so often. They need money to pay the team working on all this new content. I really dont mind paying 50 cents a day considering what im getting in return....

At the risk of being flamed by my fellow GE-ers, I must point this out.

Not a single one of you who said "WoW is teh zuxxorz" has ever played the game. One of them pointed out that it was an RTS.





Please game before you flame.

Then let me step in and flame, because I did play it.
The graphics suck. But then again, I'm used to more beautiful scenery like in Final Fantasy XI and Guildwars.
The game bored me to death.
And I was thoroughly disappointed with the inability to trade for the first month.
