You need access to Base which comes with a paid primary Valve Source game.

You need to own a game that uses the Source Engine, like HL2 or counterstrike.  I beleive there is a list on the wiki. 

The aim of the GES team at the moment is only to create multiplayer. SP might be done in the future, but it is a long way off and there are no plans right now.

well.. I really only wanted to play this for 1 player. Do you guys recommend a 1 player goldeneye mod?

OH NO, a goldeneye mod for crysis?? Why, if they take half as much time as this team took to get to where it is today.... we'll be seeing some SERIOUS competition in about 3 years!
