You step on it.

Look for it on the map. There in certain locations.

You acquire it on some certain points in maps. You just step on it to gain it.

...unless you are playing certain gamemodes, like Arsenal, where it's pickup is non-existant. You only acquire by making certain things (killing with slappers in Arsenal, for example).

If you're familiar with the N64 version, it's in almost all of the same places.

Some maps have added locations, too, that weren't in the N64 version, to account for the increased player count and for balance purposes (like Temple).
