How to Award Points for actions

Hello there, I recently bought a server and I have everything setup up but one finally thing that can make a server popular is that I want to be able to award points for players who receive achievements as well as awards in the game but I have no idea on how to do this, I did research about this and couldn't find anything on the topic. I would also like to be able to award players for getting kills, and doing other team actions like picking up the golden gun...etc. If you know how to do this please let me know. I'd really appreciate this. Is there code I must know? Why must this be so complicated.
