Problem starting the game

I am having a problem starting the game.  When I try to start the game i get a window that says, "This game is currently not available please try again another time."
I was wondering if I was doing something wrong or if the dev's are working on it =P

Anyways sorry for the inconvenience.

usually that has something to do with hl2 acting up. sometimes if you restart steam the problem will correct itself

If restarting Steam doesn't work, try right clicking on the game in Steam, select make a desktop shortcut, and then try launching it from there instead.

Double click it in your My Games list, don't right click and go to Launch Game.
