Computer Dust
« on: March 10, 2012, 06:08:00 pm »

So, as I was shopping for my computer business looking for items that could become useful such as antistatic wrist, microfiber cloths, etc, I came across those computer duster cans. This one was at Target (its like walmart, but kicks walmarts ass by a large amount). The price was $8 plus tax. I thought to myself, I am just buying compressed air. There has to be another way for me to blow dust without paying a penny. I took my bicycle pump and bought those basketball needles to inflate balls.

Here are the results..

I just cleaned my pc..

Look at all that crap. If  I have used that can duster thing, I would have finished the can in minutes.

Those basketball needles cost $0.99 at Bennys if some of you guys in in USA. They come in packs of two. You also exercise by pulling and pushing the pump handle!

So long to can dusters. Waste of money!

How clever of you. I haven't opened up my PC case since I upgraded my graphics card a good 2 years ago so I can't imagine what kind of crap is lurking around inside. I must get around to doing it someday though

I disassembled my old computer a few days ago and found a dead spider covered in dust.

wow, i wonder how they got in there in the first place. I mean vent holes are pretty small, unless the guy modded it.

when I upgraded my PC I was amazed that it was pretty clean. But then I blew out the radiator....3 minutes with a shop air compressor and crap was still coming out.

Guess two high cfm 140mm fan had blew all dust just straight into it.
