Weird GES setup question
« on: March 15, 2009, 02:42:04 am »

Hi Guys,

Just downloaded the GES client exe file and i don't have an exe file or anything to install it.

I have a steam account with team fortress 2 on it.  I also have the correct tools needed for this game.  I guess i'm just lost on what to do with the file i downloaded.

For what it's worth, i followed the setup Wiki and placed the file in the SourceMods folder.  Just don't know what to do with the file.  It doesn't have a file type and when it's double clicked the computer asks what program to open it with.

What's the basic process after you've downloaded the file?

How big is the file?

Make sure you downloaded this:

http://goldeneyesource.net/private/GoldenEyeSource_Beta_3.1.4_full.exe

And install that.

Soon as that's done, restart Steam and your good to play.

Sounds like the file didn't finish downloading or got corrupted.
