So, would I be accurate in thinking that you guys are saying that If I can write something that fits with the game, and it sounds convincing enough, you guys would use orchestral music?

Below is an excerpt from Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's Capriccio demonstrating the quality of the instruments in the program I use.

you deffinately have the skill my man, no doubt about that. however what we are asking is to go to a map in game, turn the music off and compose a track to how you feel the track should sound!

Thank you very much for the compliment, something is already in the works, and I will have something completed within a few weeks (going home for spring break so I won't have access to my computer.)

Quality instrument sounds, you certainly have the classical style down.

However, we're aiming more for a contemporary feel (just look at the original game's soundtrack). Think more along the lines of these:

Sorta mixing those together could work great (the styles, not the arrangement). Do you have AIM or anything that I could speak with you directly?

I've got an AIM account.  It's TheMusicComposer, I believe, I'll blow the dust off it and log on so that you can find me.

I've got about 30 measures so far, but I feel like we should talk before I really continue much further.

Audix, this one's all yours.  I'll leave the decision up to you, I trust your judgement.  Unfortunately, I think I'm a bit too busy right now to do a proper trial.
