Well for those of you who've seen it, which i'm sure most of you have, it's that song played as Bond is escaping from the burning building down that fire trucks ladder and he slips.  It sounds like a revised instrumental version of the Duran Duran song but with more timpani drums and such.

Anybody know where i could find this particular song as in the title of it?  I know it's probably by John Barry and it's one of my favourite songs from that movie.

check the view to a kill soundtrack? I have all the bond soundtracks minus the latest casino royale so I can hook you up with an mp3 of it.

Here's the soundtrack, check to see if its any of these and tell me, is it like a slow rendition of it? sometimes they're lame about soundtracks and don't include everything so hopefully that isnt the case here, none of the titles stand out but i'll do a quick check:

I doubt it'll be on there. If the gunbarrel theme is on there, then chances would be higher, but I still doubt it.

So any idea what that song is?

looks like its one of those tracks they didn't include, at least in the regular soundtrack. there's always a "special" soundtrack out there somewhere, like for example I wanted to find a very specific track for the movie Fistful of Dollars one time and there's this real rare soundtrack that had just about everything you could think of that was music in the movie. but other than that, dont know what to tell you. there are different variations of that but not that exactly.

I know what you mean.. I had a friend that wanted this particular song from Ghostbusters but he couldn't find it for love 'nore money and it wasn't on the soundtrack but after an extensive search i found it for him and a rare composition soundtrack lol.  I'll have to look into it but that was just one movie this is one in about 22 or so lol.

I always want full soundtracks, because of recurring themes (and specially leitmotifs) throughout the album that I can use in my multimedia projects. But no, it's always the tracks that sell, like a bunch of unrelated rap songs that you heard a second of during a montage, you know, the stuff that sells...apparently.

Off-topic note: I saw Dr. Strangehand Xanatos. It turns out I saw it long ago but didn't remember the name and only certain scenes ringed a bell (i.e the finale with James Earl Jones and the nuke-riding part). Hope yours is good too.
