Okay, so when i launch GE:S my mouse cursor shows it loading, then it just dosent start. If i look at my name in the steam friends tab, it shows me on sdk 2007, the game just does not start up. I have hl2, installed and I've played a bit of it, so it's not pirated, and it's working. I have the hidden mod installed, and it works fine. My 2 other friends got this installed no problems, and we did the SAME THING. I've spent about 7 hours today trying to figure this out, and i cant. Please help me if you can, thanks!
Okay, so i just re installed the sdk, aswell as GE:S and now i get this error when i start it in steam, and from the desktop icon.
d:\steam folder\steamapps\(USERNAME)\source\sdk base 2007\bin\filesystem_steam.dll
I have looked everywhere for the fix for this, and i just cant find one. PLEASE help me if you can, i'm pretty computer savvy and i normally get this stuff resolved within minutes, to a few hours. But this, this is terrible i'm going on 8 hours STRAIGHT now.
