I also tried QoS today.
Well, it was one of the shortest demos i ever played.
And i don't think that's to bad, course i wouldn't have stand this any longer then that.
The bad impression started even before the Game begun, i was going to install it on partition D: (!) but the game kept telling me there is not enough space on C: (?!?).
It said something about 33MB left, i checked it, 1,5GB free on C: and even much more on D: where it was supposed to install.
So i made some diskspace on C: then ran the installer again, it worked and the Game installed to D:.
So finally it was installed and i tried it...
Started the game, the Activision and Treyarch logos spreaded a little Bond mood (mainly because of the sound), but the next thing that showed up was totally out of place, a cartoon character in a futuristic white suite.
I thought i saw the worst thing of the intro, i was wrong. The Coca Cola Advertising Screen destroyed the last leftover from my bond mood.
Facing a picture of Craig in the menu screen couldn't make anything better.
Well, I adjusted some settings like screen resolution and looked at the Key bindings then started the Game.
At this point i thought, i can't get any worser... you know, i was wrong again.
After a short sequence i saw Craig covering behind a Pillar, i tried to get away from it, it didn't work. A few seconds later (felt like a minute) i somehow managed to get away, I'm not sure how.
It switched to 1st Person and i began to move. After a few adjustments to the sensity of the Mouse i realized it's not the mouse sensity, it's the game itself which feels strange.
Anyway, i followed the foe through the channels and saw the rest of the demo, got nearly motionsickness from the earthquakes, killed a few Enemies and finally...
FINALY IT WAS OVER.
I never felt so lucky to see the end of a demo.
In fact i played most of the bond games since Goldeneye, this is the worst so far.
