So, I feel that if I have
this in my collection of posters, then I should actually do so. Procrastination ends.
I can't seem to get a solid answer on which has moar powah:
i7 4790K: Quad-core, 4.0 GHz, 8MB cache, 8 threads
[or]i7 5820K: Hexa-core, 3.3 GHz, 15MB cache, 12 threads
Basically, speed vs cache size.
In this case,
this or
this.
And yes, I realize I'm not running
anything that would utilize 6 cores. Disregarding that spec.
My current socket is only LGA 1156, and the CPU is going to dictate the motherboard. (1150 or 2013-v3)
Thoughts? This 2.8 GHz i5 is making my GTX 780 feel unfulfilled.. :/
