How come when i get a link from Photobucket to add a photo for my forum profile, it gets rejected? What's the max size for the photo?

Go with 128x128, That's pretty much what I always used. I'm unsure but I believe the maximum resolution is 200x200 for an avatar.

Yeah the dimensions of my avatar are exactly 128x128, and yet when i use the Direct link from Photobucket it says it's too big or it's not considered an avatar

That's pretty weird, Try hosting it on a different website such as imageshack.us.

Hmm, that's odd. Photobucket is where I'm hosting my avatar from as well and I've never had any major problems with it. Make sure your avatar isn't in a sub-album though, I recall having issues with that initially

There, that works. .png's are little extreme for a avatar with no translucence.

All I did was upload that image I linked and it set it fine.
