More Players Hopefully Coming

A couple of weeks ago I uploaded a video of me walking round the Casino level and included a link to a help file I had created, just an in depth description with images of how to get up and running on Goldeneye Source. So far it has had 20 downloads, that's hopefully another 20 people on Goldeneye Source. I put in the description "ask if you have any questions" and as yet nobody has so I can only assume that they understood everything OK. I was thinking if more of us did this, think how many people we could get interested. Im going to upload more walk around videos with the same link, obviously the more videos I upload, the greater the chance they will click on one of mine.

I got on a video game podcast show to say this game is great and people should play it.  I know one person downloaded it after I said it.  I hope they play it. All they have to do is play it and they'll see this game is a work of art!  I will continue to pass the word around and hope others will too.

My help file for installing Goldeneye Source has had 53 downloads now, not bad.

We appreciate this, but in truth we have gotten over 120,000 downloads in 3 weeks. So any lack of player presence isnt down to installing issues. It installs via an exe, its all automatic right? :P

"more players coming" really comes down to even 10,000 of those 120,000 (less than 1/10th) actually playing daily, or at least more often as ive mentioned before in PR and posts, would cap our servers almost all day long. We could cap our servers with 1/100th of the downloaders playing simultaneously. It doesn't happen yet.

If you counted up the weekly player count it would be somewhere around 15-20 thousand, however 20,000 people aren't on at the SAME time in any given day. And this is what will get "more players coming" and give a better appearance of popularity..
