Wow an 8 year old would do this?! People blame video games for the cause of these shootings. Not all of it is video games, movies can also do this too.The ones who are to blame are the parents. Parents need to be enforced not to purchase a M rated game for a 8 year old, let alone watch movies and other shit on TV that can alter their behavior later in the future.

My nephew is less than 7 years, and he plays GTA, Halo, cstrike almost everyday.
I got him into Goldeneye Source and the freaking lunatic got bored. My brother doesn't mind him playing violence games. Sigh.... what can a uncle do....

Everytime something like this happens, there are ppl who uses this for their own purpose.
Sadly i live in Germany and i could tell you storys about what's happening here, you won't belive it.

It's allmost the same like it was with printed books, films, TV, rock music and many other things when they were new. The old ones don't understand it, they see their good old times are gone and they want to restore it by trying to bann the "new age".
They demonize and blame them for allmost every bad thing going on in the world.

If you belive the anti-video-games propaganda of the most fanatic ppl, the gamers are:
- fat
- unsocial
- isolated
- violent
- adicted
- emotionless
- phädophil (that's no joke, a bavarian politican said: "In their harmful effects, they (violent games) are on a par with drugs and child pornography, which are legally prohibited noone is questioning.")

Now they try to ban these games from germany, the same for Gotcha/Paintball.
They simply ignoring the fact that really violent games are allready banned and a lot of other games are restricted, too.

There's also a internet filter which will be used to block internet sites on a ban-list.
Officially it'll be used against child pornography, but like the other countries which got such a Filter, it soon will be used for other content as well.
The main problem is, there is noone who judges if the decission to ban a site is right.
It's easy to bypass coz it's just a DNS blocker.
And also it won't help the children much, it's more like looking away from the problem and pretending it doesn't exist.
