Title: Weird Stuttering Delay Bug
Post by: markpeterjameslegg on October 26, 2014, 08:26:11 pm
I keep running into this issue, I have reinstalled the mod 3 times now but it keeps rearing its ugly head. I have no idea what's causing it, I've been playing this mod for years and have never seen anything like this, when approaching walls, for a split second you slightly pass through them, then reappear back in front of them. I have tried lowering settings to no avail, it certainly isn't hardware related. Anyway, here's a vid...

SOLVED: For some reason, it's being caused by selecting "1" for Max Players.

Maxplayers 1 makes it a single player game... Not an excuse but a possible exlaination. This may be activating "dead code" causing conflicts.

Use LAN mode with the default playercount instead. Good bug find though!
