We should have known better. My brother and I were not hurt thankfully. Next time, I'll shop around for a real jack stand.

Or a real jack, or couple blocks of wood. I use a 25+ year old jack when I work on my car. Still scared of it but makes me work faster.

Ouchhh, I am sorry to hear that, looks like it is time for some new rotors. Buy Centrix brand if available... I run an auto repair garage, so thankfully I have access to the in-ground hydraulic ram lifts. Next time be sure to have the e-brake/foot brake, engaged, and also slide some concrete blocks along the frame rail or rocker panel, and then take the weight off the jack-stand. Those scissor jacks are damn dangerous buddy!!

Yeah man. I remember the ebrake was engaged. I think the brakes need bleeding and yea needs new rotors. I will definitely get some stands.
