I learned that reloading in Golden Eye for N64 was originally going to be accomplished by removing and reinserting the rumble pack like an ammunition magazine.

That would have been amazing if we would have had to remove the rumble pack to reload!

Random fact: The Japanese version removes the Hunting Knife and replaces its cheat with a Sniper Rifle/Rocket Launcher combo http://www.shootersforever.com/forums_message_boards/viewtopic.php?t=6032
