I was recently picked up by the Leap Motion team as a developer! If you are not familiar with Leap Motion, I think this video sums it up pretty well:

Well anyway, I plan to be making some really neat applications with this technology once I receive my unit (this Friday (1/18)). Anyone have any suggestions (BESIDES INTEGRATE IT WITH GES, lol)?

kinect 2.0 eh? congrats KM.
GES integration should be possible since in the Video it's allready working with source.

A plugin for 3D modelling programs would be interesting. Imagine being able to actually translate physical movements into sculpting and deformation.

Hmm.... combined with the Steroscopic Display mode some programms offer, this could be epic.
