Title: Same background of 4.1

I have installed GE:S 4.2.1, but I still have the old 4.1 background.

The first time, I installed the game using the patch update 4.1 to 4.2.1.

Then I uninstalled the game completely and I installed it from scratch, using the 4.2.1 installer.

RESULT: the old background is still there.

Any ideas?

After uninstalling, go to the following folder:-

Steam/steamapps/sourcemods/

Make sure that the "sourcemods" folder is empty, if not delete everything in it. Now try re-installing version 4.2.1 full install:-

I can't imagine how the old title screen could be there after this, not unless your installing the wrong version. ;)
