Love the guns, but don't like that only the slide is coloured silver or gold

That P99 gun model looks great. Love the sound effects for it too.

but don't like that only the slide is coloured silver or gold

I'm not sure about that. I can't imagine it looking much nicer with any more silver/gold on it. I could be wrong though

At least now i know how to sucessfully rig and compile a weapon model. :)
In fact much faster and easier then most character models because guns only have 100% weights.

The gun itself isn't very well optimized since i just keept the 4 seperate materials for gunbody, silencer, magazin and lamp attachment and the world model is exactly the same as the viewmodel.
As for the silver/gold version, also just a quick attempt to make them distinctable.

I don't have any textures on the weapon. I dragged the folders like you said but nothing.

Put the weapons folder into models.

Put the weapons folder into models.

There are 2 Weapons folders, one in Models, and one in Materials. The Weapons folder from Models is in the GE:S Models folder and has over-written the GE:S original files, the Weapons folder in Materials (With the textures)... Where does that one go?

OK... Managed to find the folder, cheers.

Love the guns, but don't like that only the slide is coloured silver or gold

That's how it actually works though, which I thought was a nice detail. Since the frame of the P99 is always black polymer, usually the only variations in colour are on the metal finished parts, usually the slide.

The PP7 is in full colour since the entire gun is made of metal.
