Using my Xbox wireless controller I can play the game fine but I am new and cannot use the controller to navigate through menus or action reports after a match
My laptop is hooked up to my tv so I can't really get to it to use the mouse on it to navigate through menus and wondered is there a way you can use the Xbox controller to say set up a match or click so that it starts a match instead of using the laptop mouse pad to manually navigate through the menus
Please help a noob
Thanks
James

Give this a go: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Others/Miscellaneous/jmouse.shtml
This software is advertised to let you control your mouse with your game pad. So when the GUI menus appear you can control the mouse pointer with your pad.

I mean, this is on you to figure out. Sorry to put it bluntly, but you are an extreme special case and I nor most anyone else do not use gamepads exclusively.
If its such a big deal I suggest an even easier way to go about things: http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Wireless-Mobile-Mouse-4000/dp/B002DPUUL4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1345263147&sr=8-1&keywords=microsoft+wireless+mouse

I recommend this. The red button acts as a fire button.

Actually my Xbox 360 controller has one advantage over mouse and keyboard, once I have the view at head height I can just leave it there and always be aiming at the head. But it's still no substitute for a mouse and keyboard, if you have someone shooting you in the back you want to be able to spin round quick, with a controller your dead before you even get to face the enemy. My recommendation:-

This is the Aimon XB for PC and XBOX 360, it gives you an analogue stick controller with buttons to replace your keyboard and it's fully configurable. You'll probably want to use your PC mouse though as there's is not as good in most cases.

It's just one of those things that once you get used to it, it becomes second nature. Hope you give it a shot sometime!
