I am thinking about getting a new laptop this fall; and the one I want only has Intel HD 4000 integrated graphics; will that be enough to run GE:S?
-
I would go for a desktop man, they provide more power and you won't have to worry about battery life!

It should meet the minimum requirement. I had a Dell Inspiron B130 that was barely able to run the beta 3 builds. It didn't run all that great, but it still ran if I needed it to. If you're looking to do something gaming on it, I would go for a dedicated card though,

What are the other hardware specs for the laptop? As I understand it the HD 4000 doesn't have any dedicated VRAM and instead leeches off the system RAM.

I run the mod on my HP with Intel i5 and HD 3000 without any problems except a little stuttering every once in a while.
On my desktop I run it in SLI with 3D Vision :-[

If you can you should go for a Laptop that doesn't use shared memory or integrated graphic chips.

My laptop with old nvidia g210m in it runs ges pretty dang well. And its an low voltage laptop, with shared memory.

Runs fine on my Laptop with Intel HD graphics. I'm sure it will run for you as well.

Runs great on this. Just have to come back a week later for it to finish loading. Oh, when a map loads, i have to wait 12 hours.
