"We are Doney den Ouden and Yoram Boer, two students from The Netherlands. Almost ten years ago, the original James Bond 007: Nightfire was released for the Xbox, PlayStation 2 and GameCube. Now, ten years later, the game still delivers in terms of gameplay and fun. In our opinion, it’s even more fun than today’s big blockbusters like Call of Duty and Battlefield. That’s why we think it deserves a remake. The previous version of this site was an appeal to Activision, asking them to remake this game using our ideas. Hundreds of people sent in their stories and memories of this game to support us, but we got no response. We want this remake to happen, so we are taking the matters in our own hands: we are going to build the remake as a fan project. To make this possible, we need YOUR support! We are gathering a team of hobbyists and enthusiasts who are willing to spent a few hours a week to work on what will — in our eyes — be the perfect remake of Nightfire. This means that we need artists, programmers, level designers, modelers, animators; anyone needed to build a great indie/arcade game. The remake will be made with the Unreal Engine, meaning that the game will be available for Mac and PC. If you have experience with UDK, or if you think you can help us in any way, do not hesitate to contact us (http://www.nightfire007.com/contact/). We encourage you to spread the word about our project as much as possible, so that our chances of finding suitable people for our project increase. To follow our project updates, follow us on Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/Nightfire007com) and/or like us on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/Nightfire007com)."

personally i dont think the mod will get off the ground somehow but replacing Brosnan with craig is an insult to the original game...still what does everybody else think?

				I hate this idea.

Why NF would have competition against GE:S? It's two totally different games.

Running on two separate engines as well.

But both equally as awesome games :)

The guys seem cool. Too bad they aren't more into development, then we could share work.

			-
GE:S is not only way too far ahead, but to find a development team with the same talent and commitment as GE:S's, can't see it happening.

				Nobody plays UDK projects.

I doubt that this project will have a chance on UDK.
The project is way to big for the two of you and i don't see a chance that there will be many ppl interrested in helping (or able to help).
Since you've allready sucessfully ported a few of the NF maps to source, i'd say continue on that route.
Import them into Hammer, use them as a reference but add more detail to the geometry, textures and props.
Once you got some pretty maps, you're not only able to get more skilled ppl interrested in working with you, but also have something to contribute to the GES community (if you like).
