"In September 2009 during an earnings call, Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick answered a listener’s question about the next Grand Theft Auto. He replied, "We're not going to announce it, we're not going to announce when we are going to announce it, and we are not going to announce a strategy about announcing it or about when we are going to announce it either, or about the announcement strategy surrounding the announcement of the strategy."
Try saying that fast 5 times
Release expected to be nov 2012

I quit playing gta4 when your cousin character kept calling to go bowling or something stupid. I ignored his phone calls a couple times, received a negative attribute of some sort, put on my best 'fuck that shit' face, and turned it off never to play it again. If they remove the stupid shit, I may give it a try. I loved Gta3 + Vice City, but I found the series to drop quality since San Andreas.

I must say the trailer looks pretty good. I've also read a few comments on PCGamer from people who seem to think that the narrator is an older Tommy Vercetti. Interesting stuff eh? Could we be playing as an older Vercetti in GTA 5?
On a completely unrelated note, good to see the forums back up an running again.

looks like the same crap reloaded again...just like COD.

When I saw the "Vinewood" at the end, I was totally hyped, San Andreas is the GTA title I had the most fun with.
I just hope they don't screw this game up...

I have loved all the GTAs, and by no means am I a R* fanboy. I just find the large, open-environment very fun. Hell, looks like in this one exploring it all with the mountains and everything will be fun within itself. And I'm pretty sure a saw a jet in the trailer! I hope to God that we can fly one of those. I also find all the GTA stories very enticing, along with the hilarious radio talk shows and random bystanders cursing you. I've heard rumors that GTAV has a 3000+ page script. Including the story, radio talk shows, etc.

I'm not either, But let's just face it, R* make good games. Every R* game is a certified 30 hours of gameplay minimum, With nearly unlimited replayability. I haven't tried all of them, Of course, But every R* game I have played has not deceived me and was definitely worth the money I paid the games for.
Maybe some of you has a different opinion, But I believe R* are doing a great job with single player scenarios.

I am so pumped. I love the GTA series, because of the all the fun the open-endedness of it all. I've spent countless hours playing GTA IV multiplayer with my friends and I'm expecting GTA V to be even better.
