Title: DVDBox/Cover
Post by: DarkJohn on September 30, 2011, 09:05:40 pm
Hello,

As the title says, I suggest the creation of a "OFFICIALLY" DVDBox/BoxArt.
It is convenient to show (introduce ?) the game, and for my projects (coming soon (^_^') )
I work a lot on it, and I think it should please you ...

Sincerely, John Dark

I see an issue with us making it, and too professionally, may raise a few eyebrows in the legal dept of any number of bond license holders attached to goldeneye name. :P But from a 3rd party, lets see it!

I understand, but because this is not for commercial use, i doesn't think that it is a problem.
I can try to make boxart, but i need of few pictures (RAW, not compressed please ;-) ) ...

you can take some images through gameplay via F12 or you can print screen them and paste them into Microsoft Paint or Photoshop

Yes, F12 is useful for screenshots in the first person, but I also need of panoramic views, to show qualitée maps.

// Oui, F12 est utile pour des captures d'écrans à la première personne, mais j'ai besoin // aussi de vues panoramiques pour montrer la qualitée des maps.

... , this is not to advertise or otherwise, is to improve the presentation.
A box is nothing compared to your current popularity  ;-)
Your mod will appear among the best, quite a few people have noted, and you have (apparently) no problems.
It's like the team of modders that remake "Half-Life" with Source.
Even Valve commends the effort.

// ..., il s'agit pas de faire de la pub ou autre, il s'agit d'améliorer la présentation.
// Une boite, c'est rien du tout comparé à votre actuelle popularitée  ;-)
// Votre mod apparait parmis les meilleurs, pas mal de gens l'ont remarqué, et pourtant // vous n'avez (visiblement) aucuns problèmes.
// C'est comme l'équipe de moddeurs qui refont Half-Life avec le moteur Source.
// Même Valve félicite l'effort.
