Title: Why does EyeFinity with 3 monitors look stretched?
Post by: codemaster94 on July 28, 2011, 03:20:25 am
On GoldenEye: Source, and L4D 1&2, I've noticed that the left and right monitors look stretched for some reason. Is this normal? Why does it have that look?

I know it has something to do with th way the Source engine handles FOV. It's not designed to run on three monitors, so when it gets past its normal rendering bounds it gets more and more stretched to maintain the FOV it was designed for.

KM could probably give a more technical and accurate description.

What is the normal rendering bound?
