Unzip the map file into [Steam Directory]\steamapps\common\portal 2\portal2\maps\
Enable the developer console (~) in the mouse + keyboard settings. In the console enter 'map 4t_rot_tower' (w/o the quotes) to start the level.
3 buttons and 1 laser catcher controls the tower's rotation. Lower tiers of the tower affect the rotation of the tiers above it. The map currently has no beginning or end, you'll end up in a white room which you can trap yourself in. The map requires a final art pass which includes more lights, so it's a bit darkish at the moment due to it needing to use mostly the black metals.

Finished it. Pretty interesting concept.
[Puzzle spoiler]
It could use a little more clarity with regards to how exactly each element interracted with the centerpiece. It isn't very clear how the numbers relate to the levels, they are misleading if anything as they give the impression that the elements are to be completed in a sequential order by number.

I tried adding number decals to the panels, but they weren't applying correctly to one or two of them. Trying to add overlays to them outright didn't work.

Maybe you could have a stationary brush on each level with the decal on?

current version includes this atm :

hahaha after 13 years......it might!

As soon as Steam knocks the price off Portal 2 to a considerable degree, I'll check it out. Could be a while yet or perhaps during their Summer Sale this year? (puts on a hopeful face)

considering the price is already 50% off original, thats pretty good. For us who bought the game @$60, then a week later its $30... yeah we're happy.0

major, can you get custom portal maps to work on ps3? You just download them or what? They don't have like a folder you can put them in, so how would you work it?
-
No, but I can play on PC once I link steam to PSN.

Woah, its only $30?!? Its still 50 Euro here in Europe with no sign of a price drop (unless of course as I've said the Summer Sale)
-
Yeah in Canada its still 49.99 on Steam Store. I'll just wait until it drops to 30 or under, Because they already ripped me off with L4D2 being 70$ new and two months later 25$.

I'm too stupid to figure out this puzzle... then again was at 2am...

I'm sorry, but I have to laugh at this. I got it during a Steam sale for $4.95. ::)

Yeah... I got it like one week after release. And on XBox 360 too. What a lame move that was.

Took about 5min, very tricky.

Made a more straight forward chamber this time, but timing is the key. Give it a try: http://www.mediafire.com/?0cift3w5dve3c6z
It just needs some finalized art passes. It's also probably the last chamber I give to test out publicly, as I may be working on a few more to release as a small pack in the future.
