Title: GOLDENEYE SOURCE 4.1 DONT WORKS WHIT HL2 DM
Post by: mikemassi on February 25, 2011, 11:42:19 pm: I purchased HL2 Deathmatch just for play this mod but i need the source sdk base 2007.gcf file, this file is not included with HL2 DM, and i cant download it from steam because HL2 DM dont include it, what can i do? purchase another game? if i need to purchase another game, please, GoldenEye Source Webmaster remove HL2 DM form the required games to play, thanks.

If you purchased the game, go to your "tools" list (LIBRARY>"ALL GAMES" dropdown>Tools) and install the Source SDK Base 2007 and run it once and close it.

Post by: major on February 26, 2011, 12:21:56 am: I know for a fact that it works. Unless Valve changed it in the last couple months. I opened a second steam account, and only game I own is HL2:DM(purchased during the xmas deals). I could play GE:S fine.

There is no Source SDK Base 2007 in your Tools tab?

Just saying, But maybe you guys should update it with pictures of the new Steam interface, If you guys have time, Because maybe some of the new players out there never used Steam before and don't know where the tools tab is now. I know that ain't in your priorities at all, But anyway.

I would had also changed this part : Downloading/Installing Client
Visit the Client Mirrors page and download the game client. FULL if this is your first time installing or PATCH if you have an earlier version of GoldenEye: Source installed.

The link that redirects you when you click on Client Mirrors redirects you to 3.1 Mirrors.

I've also noticed that on this page -

Casino, Archives Frontzone and Basement is still in the 'Unreleased' section, It also says "As of Beta 4" at the top of the page, I guess you did not update this page in a while, Since Basement and Archives Frontzone we're available in Beta 4. I would had changed it, But this page is locked as well.

I apologies if I am going out of topic.

I'm going to try to convert the pictures from .PNG to .JPG since most of the other pictures on the Wiki we're uploaded as that and they all work.

EDIT : Fixed it, That's the first time I ever edit a Wiki so I'll note that. All good now.

EDIT2 : Also edited the section below which included a version of the old interface as well.
