Title: GameState Text file location?

I recently had to uninstall steam, and i place the gamestate text file on my desktop. I can't seem to remember where to put the gamestate file in the steam directory. What part of the steam folder  is it suppose to be in?

Right in the plain jane goldeneye folder. Not in any special folders.
