I can't find the config file to modify the resolution settings. Can someone point me in the right direction? I was able to get other source games L4D, L4D2, TF2 etc to run 5040X1050 just fine after modifying the video.txt file under the cfg folder. The dropdown in game doesn't show 5040X1050 and it didn't in those other games as well so I had to manually modify the file.
Thanks

Try in your command line: -w 5040 -h 1050

Enzo knows how.. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9I2phd-WoU).

Lucky guy...
I remember Swifty (Some guy that works for Razer that posts videos over YouTube) has found a program to fix problems in FPS games with Eyefinity.
If this doesn't fix it, I'll look for the video again, Should find it in no time.

I have the option in my res settings when I do it.

Well there are a few things you need to verify first.
1. Eyefinity is setup (3:1) in your CCC.
2. Ingame goto options, video and change your aspect ratio.. 5040X1050 should be added in the resolution once you select correct ratio.
3. Full screen of course...
4. PLAY!

Thanks VC that worked :) usually it shows that resolution in the drop down on other games besides source ones. I'll have my server back up soon for GE:Source too! I need to re-do the RAID 5 on it. The drives are old and most likely just need to be replaced.
Eyefinity 5040X1050 GE:Source is pure epicness =D
It is setup correctly in CCC like I said other games see it just fine. Very odd I had to go into all my source games and force it..

I think it's called something like "Widescreen Fixer."

Surround works just fine :D I even used the bezel correction to see if feels better. Side note the low FPS is due to vsync. I was averaging about 90 with all settings maxed.

I'm happy enough to get 60 and I think it is pretty smooth. What refresh rate do you use?
-
Stock 60Hz
3x Samsung 2443

I don't understand then, How can you lag at 90FPS if your refresh rate is 60HZ? Unless I misread what you typed the first time...
-
With vsync enabled you are "locked" at 60FPS. I see the FPS flicker 59-60 all the time.. when I turn vsync off I jump to ~90
I think you miss read :/

Oh, I got you now! My bad. I didn't take the 'vsync on' in consideration :P
