So, every time i shoot i get white boxes. seems like this also happens below the player where shading should be.
also under some items in game.
i have searched the forums and seen some stuff that looks close but not the same.
i have new graphics cards. new drivers from the xfx site, even downloaded drivers from the AMD site. i go to update directx and it shows i have a newer or equivalent version.
directx 11 does work with other games.

>< forgot some stuff. i have reinstalled drivers.
installed source SDK stuff. all i could find.
-
Try reinstalling the mod? All I can think of right now.
-
already did that :(
where is the folder kept? so i can delete everything and retry the install.
anyone else having problems with AMD crossfire?
-
Probably just a wireframe setting being enabled for some reason. I remember similar problems with CSS running on DX 7 back when DX 7 was available.
-
hmm... how do i fix the wire frame thing?
im going to try to reinstall one more time. then disable crossfire if it is still happening.

Make sure all your graphics drivers are up to date.
In Steam go to Tools and then right click on Source SDK Base 2007, click properties then go to Local Files and Verify Integrity of Tool Cache.

All graphics drivers have been updated. DX11 updated.
did the SDK fix. found 300+ files that needed to be redownloaded.
Fixed!!! Thanks!!!!

Now that we are talking about graphical glitches; I sometimes see people their shadows on the roof (they're walking above me). This usualy happens in archives. Is this normal? If I had explosives...
-
Shadow through solid is very common in Source. It's part of the optimizations in shadow casting that simply don't work right.

On old engine (2006) r_dopixelvisibility gave similar results now it seems to turn off the glow of lights not sure if it does nything else.
