Title: [Issue] Windows Background sound quiet when in-game
Post by: namajnaG on October 12, 2010, 05:51:19 am
Hey everyone, Well as stated in the subject, Whenever I enter a server, The sound of my background programs is significantly lower than usual.
Example : I am on Ventrilo while playing, And the sound is decerased by Approx. 75%, Thus I can't hear my friends speak over Vent. Same thing if I want to listen to music on my WMP whilst playing. The sound is too low.

I tried disabling In-game music, No results.
Is it a bug or not? (I doubt it is a bug, But I don't know.)
If it is not is there a way to make the sound back to normal whilst playing?

Thanks for the help.

This is windows.

-Right click on the little speaker icon on the right side of your taskbar, and click "Sounds"
-Then goto the communications Tab
-check the "Do nothing" bubble
-Apply
-Done, no more dimming of sounds.
