So my chick's having a problem with her lappy and i can't figure out what the deuce is wrong.. i've [of course] tried the "uninstall- restart- reinstall" method twice now and nothing..
Wondering if anyone has had this problem: Going to any flash game/a flash advertisement/youtube videos crash when loading..
She's using Windows 7 and earlier we we're battling it out on tetrisfriends.com fine, we go to hang out at a buddies house.. get back and her lappy is now not working on any of those things listed above.. So far google isn't helping much at all which is why I'm posting to some fellow nerds to hopefully even find a helpful link? It's crashing in Google Chrome and Firefox.. we got Chrome to try it to no avail..
Any suggestions/helpful links are greatly appreciated :D i would like to get back to OWNING her in tetris.

Without taking too much time looking into it here a two situations where people state similar problems (albeit with a different OS in the first case):
http://forums.adobe.com/thread/443103
(something about the user's rights to access flash going wrong)
and
http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Chrome/thread?tid=3bfdcb89727b109a&hl=en
(something about out of date drivers by sony -> is it a Vayo laptop?)
btw: does the IE crash too?

Yeah 1 is a different OS and i will have to wait till tomorrow to try using an older version of adobe.. and 2. it's a Dell :-/

I used to have the same problem, I ran CCleaner and Eusing's reg cleaner and it fixed.

What you need to do is, when you uninstall shockwave from add/remove programs, go to regedit and look for adobe, and see if you can find a shockwave registry and delete that. Make sure you backup your registry first.
also update your firefox and chrome browsers.
don't use ccleaner for registry cleaning. Use little registry
http://sourceforge.net/projects/littlecleaner/
ccleaner is great for cleaning temps, recycle bin, etc.
after you uninstall shockwave, run little regis, then run ccleaner, then update your browsers, then reinstall shockwave, and flash. Let me know.
