Using alternative controllers to play is there instructions on how to make your own codes for advance users?
I have a Logitech dual action game pad and i want to try it on GE:S.
Perhaps a tutorial on the wiki?
TY for your support. sorry did not know where to put this question its a multi-subject

??? any thoughts anyone? ???

Someone will be along, sorry for the wait.
I myself forget if it's been asked before :P

I know there is Logitech rumble pad support, I'm sure dual action can't be to far off. But as Wake said someone with knowledge can help ya soon.

I added support for the Logitech Rumblepad 2 in 4.1, it's basically a matter of developers having access to these pads so that they can create configurations and test them with the game, but I'm sure that the input commands would be similar so you could potentially hack together your own config file from the Rumblepad 2 one and send it to us.

there is also a program input emulator called glove pie that I have been trying to write a code for but no luck yet.
here is a link to the control\ driver downloads if it helps

From what I read, the rumble pad and the Dual action are the same thing .cfg wise. But since I don't have either, I can't test them.
You just might have to wait till 4.1.
Or if SSL allows the use of the 4.1 Rumblepad now, we might be able to hack one together. But if you google just "Logitech Dual Action .cfg for source" there are some HL2 tuts. to get them working, should be similar for GE:S.
If you can get that far, we might be able to tweak your .cfg and get it working.
But since this game is made for KB/MS, there really isn't much support.
