I'm not sure if this was done intentionally, but it definitely caught me by surprise.

Biggest problem I can see with this is during token-based game modes such as Living Daylights if someone decides to stay with the flag in that room every round throughout the entire match.

No Jimbo! Don't expose the melodic spot!
That being said, most if my attempts at this in the past result in me getting stuck in the ceiling, rather than all the way through into the next floor. Also of note is that the passage directly adjacent to this one is also exposed to this exploit.

More melodic than Kenny Loggins.
I always get stuck in the ceiling trying to do that.
-
Epic, I can't tell if that's a mapper's "easter egg" or a coding problem.
-
No matter what it is, it's breaking the gameplay so it should be removed.
-
Disable jump, problem solved. Good work team!

unless IS meant this to be there.....we still haven't got a word back. After all, that is his secret room.
-
I think it's pretty cool. Keep it in because you'd have to either die or kill yourself to get out, and it'd be harder to aim at people from the little vent cover space you have. And I tested it. No possible way to get back down. Just out of what I know though.

Looking at it in hammer, looks like it's a glitch and not a "feature".
-
haha, damn. Funny that that glitch just happened to work out the way it did. :D What are the chances of that lol

Where would it have lead to though? I mean, I would've figured having half a room built, but hmmm....
-
Whoa, that's strange. That's a code bug, I never planned on anyone getting into that room.
-
Just playerclip around the shelves then, and nodraw the floors on the upper room too.

I know on some maps in HL2DM if ceiling is low and I duck jump it is possible to get stuck in the ceiling make of that what you will.
-
Actually, this kind of thing is becoming pretty frequent for me.
I suppose it's because i didn't crouch jump through narrow spaces too much before, but now it's nearly once a day i attempt to jump through a window and find myself stuck in the border.
Is this some kind of new funky directing style or -what-?

Please tell me where (use cl_showpos + a screenshot) these penetrations occur so that I can fix the coding bug that is not detecting the ceiling collision.
