Title: Golden Eye initialization fault

Hello,
After installing GE:S (EXE) I dubbel click on the GE:S Shortcut, but it doesnt do anything. I have Half Life 2: Death match (Wich i got from the nVidia card offer). GE:S is in the correct directorie (Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\gesource). I also tried restarting steam several times and iv restarted my computer. I have above the required specifications. I have no idea what the problem could be there are no error's, it just doesnt start the game. Anyone know what might be wrong and also know a fix? thanks !

Im sorry to inform you it isn't enough. Free offers do not provide the Source SDK Base which GES needs to run. If you wish to play the game you'll have to buy a source game.

You have to have purchased a Source Engine game in order to get the Source SDK Base content (what GES needs in order to run).

Using just the Nvidia offer will not run the mod.

What if i buy Counter Strike source, will it work after that?

Yes it will. Make sure you install the Source SDK Base under "tool" tab.

Install Source SDK base 2007 for GES beta 4, since it's an orangebox mod.
