pretty sure it has to do with your dxlevel not being set right, which is probably because your computer cant handle higher then what you are at.

Wow, that's ancient...

Although I can't talk, until a year and a half ago I was still using a GeForce 2 MX400  :-[

HEY plz help me, u guys know any command line or something to super downgrade details or something ???

PLZ!

a month ago I was using a GEFORCE mx 400 (64mb) lolol older than previous commentz xD

i was runing GE:S at the lower resolution, and having a decent frame rate except for runway but that was oK for me...

later a week ago I changed my vcard for an oldie RADEON 9250 (256 mb) and it fixed a lot of things :D
i was so happy xD I had it in a rez of 800x600 and the frame rate was so good.

then the great beta4 came out (yaaay)

and my perfomance gos to the hell, worst when than I was runing beta3 with the 64mb card...

somethin in the graphic engine is diff, now GE:S is not for poors like me :(

This may helpyour FPS slightly.

Also this (it is designed for TF2 but since use same engine it should work.)

But you will get a far better boost if you buy a new PC, yours must be at least 7 years old, I had a Radeo 9200 in 2003.

What you need is one of these:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814139053

Cheapest card I could find that would get you in DX8+ territory with plenty of video ram (512 MB). I am assuming you are running AGP still.
